Anichi was born and raised in South-and Central America. When he was 10 years old, Anichi started to take lessons at a dance school in Quito (Ecuador) with the focal point being ballet and salsa. Here Anichi learnt the technical know-how of dancing but also experienced the fascinating range of salsa dance, as well as falling in love with the music.

At 17 years of age, Anichi moved to Germany where he met his dancing partner Anne, and started to rehearse and perform with her in ‘Sabroson’.

Anichi is also part of a Salsa Band ‘Son como Son’. He plays the Tres, Conga and Timbales.
